Extension overview

Once installed, the extension works locally to protect what you send to AI tools. It:

• Scans pasted text, prompts, and text attachments in the browser.
• Applies data rules to decide what happens when sensitive data is detected.
• Keeps a local audit history of detections on the device.

The same extension powers both modes. On its own it protects an individual in standalone mode; connected to an organization through a deployment package, it enforces managed policy and reports privacy-safe metadata. See Install InputGuard to get started.
