InputGuard Terms of Service

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Use of the service

InputGuard is operated by Sunny Gateway LLC. InputGuard helps organizations reduce accidental sensitive data sharing when employees use browser-based AI tools. You are responsible for using the service in compliance with your policies and applicable laws.

Extension behavior

The extension may scan pasted text, final prompt text, and supported text attachments locally according to configured policy. Behavior can vary by site, browser state, browser permissions, file type, and policy configuration.

Admin-managed organizations

Admins are responsible for configuring organizations, devices, deployment settings, policy rules, and user access. Admins are also responsible for communicating monitoring and acceptable-use expectations to their users.

Business customers and data processing

InputGuard is provided to organizations as business customers. For managed organizations, the customer is the controller of its account, device, policy, and audit data, and InputGuard acts as a processor on the customer's behalf as described in the Privacy Policy. The managed service uses sub-processors (including Supabase, Resend, and Stripe) to operate. A data processing addendum is available to organization customers on request through the contact email below.

Audit metadata

Portal audit workflows are intended for metadata only. You may not intentionally submit prompt text, pasted content, attachment contents, full sensitive values, full URLs, or other unnecessary sensitive content into audit metadata fields.

Detection limitations

InputGuard cannot guarantee perfect detection, redaction, blocking, or classification. It is a risk-reduction control, not a complete substitute for human review, security training, legal review, or broader data governance.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to attack, disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, bypass, or misuse InputGuard, browser platforms, AI tools, or third-party services.

Billing

InputGuard uses the pricing shown on the pricing page unless a separate written agreement applies. The organization trial lasts 30 days and starts when the first physical device syncs; creating a workspace does not start the trial clock. Monthly billing is based on active physical devices at renewal time. Devices added during a billing period are included at the next renewal. Devices removed, archived, inactive, revoked, or deleted before renewal are not billed on the next invoice. There are no mid-month prorated charges, credits, or refunds. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Service changes and availability

Features, limits, supported AI sites, detection behavior, integrations, and pricing may change over time. Service interruptions, browser changes, and third-party platform changes may affect availability or behavior.

Limitation of liability

InputGuard is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
