What each action does when a data rule matches, and where it’s available.
Actions

| Log only | Records the detection in audit history and lets the submission proceed. | Standalone & managed |
| Warn | Shows a warning before submission so the user can reconsider. | Standalone & managed |
| Require redaction | Requires the detected value be redacted before the content can be submitted. | Standalone & managed |
| Require reason | Requires the user to provide a reason before proceeding. | Managed only |
| Block | Prevents the content from being submitted. | Managed only |
Managed-only actions
Require reason and Block are enforcement actions available when a device is managed by an organization. In standalone mode, the available actions are log only, warn, and require redaction.
